This week, 63% of respondents reported that traffic was good last weekend, with only 37% reporting slow traffic—a positive marker considering that November is typically a slower month for dealerships.
In fact, this continues the steady rise in positive traffic reports we’ve seen over the course of the past five weeks. The only exception being a small dip of 3 points the week of the election. This trend could be a bounce-back from the heated election season, as dealers forecasted in this quarter’s Dealer Confidence Index.
Will traffic continue to rise as we hit the holiday season head-on?
Will potential wintry weather situations impact traffic this weekend and in the coming weeks?
Tune in next week to see what happens in the next Weekend Traffic Poll.
